Team Rider Jay Quinn

Jay has been a professional surfer for almost two decades. He won the under-18 world junior surfing title in 2001, followed by the New Zealand mens national title three times — in 2008, 2010 and 2013 — and the Welsh, British and European Championship in 2017 and 2019, including his time as a competitive surfer on the WSL QS series. He's also claimed national titles in every age group from u14, u16, u18, 28+  including a national longboard title. Jay has a long history as a new wave team rider, starting out as a young grom from 12 - 15 years, then in 2009/10.

Jay has recently returned to his home town of Gizzy with his family. We are stoked to have Jay on the newwave team!
